These Terms of Use govern your use of My Reading Alcove, operated by Digbe eSolutions LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.
My Reading Alcove is a personal book tracking web application. We provide tools to log books, store ratings and summaries, track reading history, and export your data. The service is available as a web app and progressive web app (PWA) installable on mobile and desktop devices.
You must provide a valid email address to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your password and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at support@myreadingalcove.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
After a 30-day free trial, continued use requires a subscription at $1.99/month, billed through Stripe. You may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial months.
Your book library, ratings, and notes belong to you. You can export your data at any time via the Export CSV feature. We do not sell your personal data or your library contents to third parties.

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or experience outages from our infrastructure providers (Render, Supabase). We are not liable for losses resulting from service interruptions.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at support@myreadingalcove.com.
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be error-free or that any defects will be corrected.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Digbe eSolutions LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or an in-app notice. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Hampshire, without regard to conflict of law principles.
